HAPPY 2012!! It has been a while. Thanks for joining the mailing list!

For those of you living in the LA area, I am performing in an evening of murder ballads, with 8 other artists on January 28 at the Eagle Rock Arts Center. I'll be performing 'Pretty Polly' by Judy Collins and 'Burn' which is an original composition. My good friend Dudley Sau nders is pulling the event together. For more details see my site. We'll have beautiful video projections for every song played, and I think it's going to be a really special evening...

Other musical inspirations have led me to writing in different genres this past year & a half. LOVECCENTRIC is a beat driven club effort I am collaborating on with Davidson Ospina. We'll be releasing random tracks and remixes as we go along, so not necessarily in an ep or album format, but just every few months you'll hear a new club track coming from this association paired with video. All tracks will be available online at time of release as well as a free downloadable remix.

NORTHERN SOULS is a very different project all together. It is a visitation back to the roots of my youth growing up in New Zealand. Reggae music is synonomous with us kiwi's, and I have long wanted to write a roots album. There are ten tracks already written ~ traditional grooves but with contemporary beats mixed in. That's the best I can describe what's been coming out. I want to have the final recordings completed by March this year in time for an October release, & be on the road in NZ & OZ promoting it come festival time. Chase the sun in the next few years to come.. I'm super excited at the thought of being out playing live once more.. You have to go with the flow of wherever your inspiration leads as an artist, and peforming live has come round again for me.. It's been lovely to hibernate in the studio, but the work is written now, so it's time to keep moving forward... listen out for snippets of the new material coming your way in 2012 on the website which has been updated!
